CALL TO ACTION: URGENT LAST CHANCE TO STOP DELISTING

YELLOWSTONE GRIZZLIES NEED YOUR VOICE NOW MORE THAN EVER.  THIS MAY BE THE VERY LAST CALL TO ACTION BEFORE THEY'RE OFFICIALLY DELISTED FROM THE ESA.  TROPHY HUNTING IS EMMIENT.

Native News Online has learned that on June 26 Secretary Zinke is expected to announce the delisting of the grizzly bear from the Endangered Species Act (ESA).  Zinke has apparently chosen the Western Governors Association (WGA) Annual Meeting (June 26-28) in his hometown of Whitefish, Montana, to declare the grizzly delisting rule.

TALKING POINTS: CALL/EMAIL/FACEBOOK

I do not support the delisting of Yellowstone grizzly bears.  Sec. Zinke needs to honor the mandatory pre-decision and meaningful government-to-government consultation with tribes over grizzly delisting. Members of Congress from BOTH parties have asked him to do so.

We need to see the 2016 Inter Grizzly Bear Study Report (IGBST). Over the past three years, the Yellowstone grizzly bear population has been declining, with mortality at record high rates.  Where is the report?

Have they answered the overwhelming 600,000 public comments?

  6. Stop!!! Stop killing our wildlife. They are essential to our well being and this planet. To keep killing for big business such as, fracking,, oil,, coal. It's unnecessary. Ludicrous actions to appease greedy and wealthy folks. We as Native Americans as well as the general public have made over 600.000 comments to be considered before this. Tribes need to be recognized as for what we stand for with our scared animals. Stop stop stop. Our public lands are just that public. And have been payed for by us the public. Not private for the government to continue this barrage of death upon us all. I can't imagine not have Yellowstone's GRIZZLEYS or anywhere they can remain to survive a greedy existence for others .STOP ASAP. there's a reason for the ESA.IT WAS ESTABLISHED JUST BECAUSE OF THESE ACTIONS.. From the hands that kill all in sight for pleasure or money. Soething wrong with that aspect of thinking and our forefathers saw that to. So #DON'T DELIST GRIZZLEYS. . OR THE ESA .

  7. Killing our wildlife is not the answer to a problem that doesn't exist anyway, this is just WRONG by Delisting these magnificent BEARS, is allowing every animal killer out there a green light to kill, wake up, or you will be voted out of office next time around or maybe sooner, our wildlife have a right to live just as we do, how would you like it if
" IF WE THE PEOPLE DELISTED YOU POLITICIANS, That might be a good start, only you would not have to worry about losing your life..

  8. I'm a hunter have been my who life so I'm not against hunting. But I do not agree with the delisting and hunting of grizzly in the lower 48. There is no need in this there is not enough of them to open up a hunting season. And when there is there needs to be a big no hunting zone around the parks25-30 miles we travel every year to Jackson hole and spend 4-6 weeks there to photograph the wild life. To have hunting season in are around the parks is foolish and that goes for all wildlife. People go to the park may not agree with hunting and to have it pushed on them is nuts. The parks should remain natural. The grizzly draw so many people that spend so much money it dos not make any sense to be out hunting them at all and for ure not in are around the park. With such low numbers not even a 1000 all it would take is a bad disease to come along and whip out a big part I'm totally 100% against any hunting of the grizzly in the lower 48 at this time and that's coming from a life long hunter DO NOT DELIST THE GRIZZLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
